NYSL wants to announce that changes are coming to our local soccer scene in the next few weeks and months. Changes you will see, changes bringing our soccer community together, changes for the better.
Established over 30 years ago as Napa Youth Soccer League (NYSL) and as a 501C3 non-profit, our local soccer organization has continued to provide the youth of the Napa Valley with invaluable social experiences and a fun way to exercise. In addition, we offer different playing level opportunities for many age groups that also include a competitive travel program under the direction of the Napa Valley Soccer Club (NVSC). As of January 2013, we have successfully merged the two organization platforms together to form what is now called Napa United which currently serves nearly 2000 players and is growing! There are many advantages realized by uniting the two platforms and include organizational efficiencies, improved player development, and better community representation.
Over the next few months, you will start to see new Napa United marketing materials and community outreach efforts from our board members. We are excited to share this news with you and look forward to further developing Napa United into the best soccer program in the area.

Online registration for the fall 2013 soccer season is now open.
Walk-in registration days will be held on April 20, 24 and 27 at New Technology High School.
The Walk-in registration schedule is:
- Saturday April 20th 10AM to 1PM
- Wednesday April 24th 5PM to 8PM
- Saturday April 27th 10AM to 1PM
Registrations received after May 31st will be charged a $10 late registration fee.
Teams will be filled on a first come, first served basis. Some teams fill-up prior to walk-in registration days. Although we make every effort to satisfy team/friend requests, there is no guarantee that we will be able to fulfill any requests.
Coaches will receive their rosters at the July 17th coach’s meeting.

Uniforms:
The standard uniform for U12 and under is a burgundy/white reversible jersey, black shorts, burgundy socks, soccer cleats and shin guards. Custom socks can be ordered/worn by the entire team (good project for the team Mom or Dad); all team members must wear same color/style socks at games. Refer to uniform pictures for home (white) and guest (burgundy). Note: Last year a newer style jersey was introduced and is seen in the photos, but the earlier versions are still valid.
U14 and up can wear non-standard uniforms with some limitations and prior league approval.
Coaches should have goalies show up with a different shirt to wear while they are in the box.
All of the uniform is purchased by the parents (not provided by the league), and can be purchased at Replay Sports (across from Walmart on Lincoln), or at the Coliseum (across from Napa High).
