The first team listed on the schedule is the home team. The home team shall:

  • wear the white side of their reversible jerseys;
  • supply the referee with a game card and 3 game balls.

Each player shall play a minimum of 50% of the game.

Each team shall supply one lineman if requested by the scheduled referee.

If no referees shows up for your game, unless otherwise agreed to by the coaches, one coach shall referee one half of the game and the other coach shall referee the other half of the game.

A coach shall not enter the field of play except prior to the start of the game, at half time, or at the end of the game or to aid an injured player from either team (after receiving the referee's permission) or whenever beckoned onto the field by the referee.

Coaches and players must stay within ten yards of either side of the halfway line. Coaching outside of this area is prohibited. All spectators must stand 5 yards back from the side touchlines, behind the spectator viewing line, (3yds were space is limited).

Only the playing captain may ask for clarification of a decision at a stoppage in play. No person shall interfere with or challenge a referee before, during, or after the game.

Substitutes must enter and exit from the touchlines at the halfway line of the field. With the referee's permission, unlimited substitutions may be made.

For U-10 and above the following substitution rules apply:

  • Prior to a throw-in, in your favor.
  • Prior to a goal kick, by either team.
  • After a goal, by either team.
  • After an injury; when the referee stops play, by either team.
  • At half time;
  • When the referee stops play to caution a player, only the cautioned player may be substituted, prior to the restart of play.

Substitutes of U6s and U8s shall occur at a "substitution break" at the midway point of each half, at halftime, or in the discretion of the onfield coaches. "Substitution break" is only a momentary stoppage of the game, allowing the substitution players to go on and off the field. All players that are not being substituted must remain off the field of play.
